OLD-AGE PENSIONS
PAYMENT TO-MOBROW [Pe? United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, October 19. State old-age pensions will be paid on Friday, two daj’s earlier than usual, the Minister of Pensions (Hon. W. E. Parry) stated to-day. The reason for the change, he said, was on account of the customary paying-out day, the 23rd of the month, falling this month on a Sunday. The Minister said that family allowances would be available on Tuesday next, and war veterans’ allowances on Monday, October 31.
