LADY TEMPEST FOUND DEAD DAUGHTER CRITICALLY ILL Frets Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, October 18. Lady, Evelyn . Marie Tempest, 6#, a visitor from London, was found dead in a bathroom at Pott’s Point. Her daughter Hilary, aged 32, is critically ill. A police investigation Ml tO‘ the discovery of bottles which had contained drugs, mostly used to induce sleep. • Medical opinion is that Lady Tempest died of cerebral haemorrhage, as her health was indifferent, and that her daughter, who was also in indifferent health and a sufferer from insomnia, became unconscious after discovering her mother’s body. The' pair were prominent social figures. Lady Tempest was the widow of the late Sir Percy Tempest, a British engineer for the Southern Railway Company. DAUGHTER SUCCUMBS SYDNEY, October 18. Lady Tempest’s daughter died tonight.
