VOTE TO LABOUR FUNDS [Per United Press Association.} WELLINGTON, October 18. By a majority of about I,iPO votes the New Zealand Locomotive Engineers, Firemen, and Cleaners’ Association has decided to contribute £SOO to the funds of the New Zealand Labour Party. This decision was reached after a postal ballot had been taken among members of the N.Z.E.F.C.A. in different parts of New Zealand. Though the N.Z.E.F.C.A. is affiliated to the New Zealand Labour Party, no contribution could be made from the association’s funds until a postal ballot had been taken. Each financial member was supplied with a ballot paper, which_ was required to be returned early in October; The contribution will be made from the existing funds of the organisation.
