BALCLUTHA SHOW

SPRING FLOWER DISPLAY A wonderfully good display of spring flowers was to be seen in the Balclutha Band Hall this week at the annum spring show of the Balclutha Horticultural Society. Added features were the bays of the Women's Institutes Ten of these were entered and wer? divided into two sections—tnc.se .rom institutes with 30 members or over ana those with under 30 members. A new feature was the display of woodwork and cookery by children from the primary schools, principally the Bal clutha School. Crewes. of Owaka. Mr A. L. Shepard was president, ana the duties of secretary were well .carried out by Mr R. W. Culbert. A Ladies’ Committee, comprised ,oi Mesdames G Guest, F.
