TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I have received through the post a pamphlet with the compliments of Dr MWiillaii. In the foreword thereto Dr M‘Millan says: “ As citizens of the British 'Commonwealth of Nations—that bulwark of democratic ideals and Christian' principles—the only criterion by which legislation can be judged is how it fits in with Christian ethics.” The basic principles underlying the bulwark of democratic; ideals and Christian principles to which
Dr M'Millan refers have Leon freedom and individualism —the antithesis of tlie Socialism and regimentation lor which Dr M'Millan and the Labour Party stand. The inference is plain. Vote' National.—l am, etc., Anti-Socialist. September 16.
