’A MAN'S HOUSE'
Once or twice in the history of every repertory company there comes along a play that satisfies the demand of every theatregoer, a play with a stow that mounts in interests as it increases in tension ; in short, a good play. Such a play, hy the verdict of the best Eng. lisli critics, is ‘ A Man's House,’ by John Drinkwater, which the Dunedin Repertory Society will produce for a season of four nights, commencing on Wednesday next, at Hi.s Majesty’s Theatre. ‘A Man's House’ marks the triumphant climax of Drinkwater’s dramatic career, and is perhaps the most successful of all his experiments in presenting_ historical themes in colloquial been given by the Repertory Society English. Much care and thought have in easting ‘ A Man’s House,’ and rehearsals are well forward. The producer is Miss Xgaio Marsh, of Christchurch, who has had many years of theatrical experience.
