A Ratepayers’ Association has been formed at Company Bay, and keen interest is being evinced in the affairs of the locality. At a recent meeting the chairman, Mr J. Ivernahan, remarked that it was pleasing to notice the work of widening various roads and the improvement of dangerous corners at present being undertaken. It was decided to obtain particulars of the cost of lighting the townships of Newbury and Helensville.
