THE EXPROPRIATED WELLS BARTER DEAL WITH GERMANY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright MEXICO CITY, September 6. The Government petroleum administration has completed the first direct barter deal with Germany, and expropriated oil will be shipped to Hamburg in exchange for newsprint. Mexican agents in Italy are arranging to barter oil for rayon. Mexican purchases from the United States during July amounted to 3,000,OOOdol, compared with 10,000,000d0l worth during July last year.
