FORESTERS

At Court Saint Andrew’s meeting C. Bra. G. M‘Kay presided over a good attendance of officers and members. The court was opened in mourning in respect to the late Bro. John Ogg, one of the oldest members. Two candidates were initiated, one on behalf of Court Enterprise. The second round of the 500 competition was played, and the following courts now’ qualify for the third round: —Pride of Dunedin, King Edward's Pride, and Little John. It was decided to write to the secretary of Court Pride of Dunedin, conveying regret at the passing of its late secretary, P.C.R. Bro. A. D. Miller. P.C.TI.s Bros. Wilson and Wood were welcomed to the meeting and judged the court for the ritual competition. The nomination of officers and delegates took place, and the election and installation will be held next court night. After the court was closed members played badminton, the winning doubles being Bros. M. Swann and H. Baines.
