Smith to Mount Eden, was placed before Presbytery by the Rev. A. C. W. Standage, commissioner of the vacant charge. Mr Standage said that tho invitation to Mr Campbell had been supported by 141 out of the 200 members of the Kaikorai congregation. Because of the activities of the P.S.S.A. in the Kensington district the Rev. H. J. The problem had first come to notice 10 years ago, when Kensington was made a home mission station, St. Andrew’s paying £3O for three years for its maintenance. At the end of this period that grant was withdrawn, and later Kensington was again included in the charge. At the present the services were conducted by a student. Something would have to be done, as the student supply was not satisfactory. It might be possible to appoint a borne mission student who had attended Theological Hall, The beginning of the P.S.S.A. work in South Dunedin had put an entirely different complexion on any future decision. The Moderator commenting that this expression of opinion would in no way commit Presbytery, the recommendation was adopted for transmission to Assembly. SEACLIFF-WARPJNGTON CHARGE. The Rev. J.
