WANAKA GOLF TOURNAMENT

Tlie kanaka Club's annual golf tournament was held on Friday and Saturday. Visitors from Cromwell, Clyde, Alexandra, Omakau, Gore, Oamaru, and St. Clair and Otago Clubs participated. Unfortunately, boisterous and cold southerly winds spoilt playing conditions, but did not deter the players from making an enjoyable tournament of it. The tournament was concluded with a well-attended dance on Saturday night in the Pembroke Hall. During the evening the cups and trophies won in the various competitions were presented b/ the president, Mr A. M‘Kegg. The following was the prize list: —Ladies’ bogey match.
