The annual match between the oamaru Railway and Dunedin Railway Miniature Rifle Clubs was won by Oamaru by 17 points. On Sunday the visitors were taken for a motor drive. The annual report of the Meadowhank Tennis Club records an increased membership and a satisfactory financial position. Congratulations are extended to the Oamarn Club, winners of the senior, and Papakaio, of the junior competition; to Miss D. Miller and A. Feathers, the North Otago champions, and to Miss Miller, club champion, on her successes. ROTARY CLUB. At the Oamaru Rotary Club’s luncheon yesterday. Rotarian J. M. M‘Kenzie gave a talk on ’ Neighbours,’ and stating that China was a neighbour of ours, appealed for assistance for the child refugees of that country. MUSIC EXAMINATION. Following were the successful .Oamaru candidates in the grammar of music examinations, conducted by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of .Music;—Annabel M. Austin, Marie Havhurst, Anne Macfarlnne, Nocline T. MTombie. Elizabeth C. M‘Leod, and Nonna Meikle. PERSONAL. Visiting Oamaru is the Rev. C. W. M'Dowall, who is on furlough from a mission in China. He is staying with his mother, Mrs W. C. M'Dowall (lichen street).
