SURGEONS SUPPORT DOCTORS [Pan United Press Association.' WELLINGTON, September 5. Support for the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association in its attitude toward the Government’s health scheme was given at a meeting of the New Zealand section of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Christchurch last week. The meeting adopted a resolution supporting the British Medical Association in its opposition to the scheme of universal medical services as proposed by the Government, and expressed the opinion that it would have a harmful effect on the medical services of the community.
