Mrs Donaldson read the following extract taken from the ‘ Bulletin.’ a Church of Christ publication;—“Every Christian disciple, guided by conscience, is rightfully and lawfully a law unto himself. It is proper to do what is right in your own eyes. But in. the matter of Prohibition arises an issue, quite apart from politics, where the church can speak unitedly in the name of Christ. It is the one issue in which the church is interested. We stand for the Kingdom of God on earth, and the brewer and the hotelkeeper are in the opposition camp. There is no altering that fact.
