WITH THE GRACE OF A SWAN, despite her bulk, this 700-ton steel pontoon of Austral New Zealand's dredge entered an artificial lagoon at Lowburn on Saturday. Unlike her two Molyneux River predecessors, no hitch occurred at the launching. In the middle background there can just be discerned the electrician who cut the last remaining cable with an acetone gas torch, and, the only person aboard, rode the monster as she entered the water.
