FORESTERS
The fortnightly meeting of Court Enterprise was held in the court room, Unity Chambers, Stuart street, C.R. Bro. Benfell presiding and all officers being in attendance except the S.C.R., Bro. Stevenson, and the S.W., Bro. Stan Wells, both being on the sick list. The _ Woodward reported on the sick. An invitation was received from Court King Edward’s Pride to its anniversary social on August 26, which was accepted, and it was decided to attend officially. The C.R. reported on the visit to the anniversary ball of Court Bruce (Milton). P.C.R. Bro. Dey reported on the visit to Court St. Andrews for the badminton tournament, and P.C.R. Bro. Brettell on his visit to Court Pride of Leith. He had also visited Bro. Stan Wills and P.D.C.R. Bro. W. Ibbotson, the latter still being in the Hospital, but improving splendidly. A brother applied for a letter of recommendation, ho having been transferred from town, which was granted, A brother applied for his share in No. 1 surplus, which was granted, the amount being £il 18s 6d. The C.R. reminded members of next court night, it being a progressive euchre tournament for members, lady friends, and visiting members. The prizes are being donated by the C.R.
