THE PRIME MINISTER
SLIGHTLY INDISPOSED NORTH AUCKLAND TOUR POSTPONED [Peb United Press Association.] AUCKLAND. August 20. Slight indisposition of the Prime Minister has caused a postponement of liis northern tour, wljich was to have begun from Auckland on Monday. Mr Savage was suffering from a minor indisposition when he arrived from the south, and left immediately, after being greeted at the station, for his hotel, where he retired to his room. A statement was later issued that owing to a silight indisposition it had been necessary, for the time being, to postpone his tour of North Auckland. Mr Savage stated that he was keenly disappointed at not being able to carry out the programme which had been arranged for next week, but he hoped the postponement would bo for a short time only. Ho trusted that in the circumstances he would be forgiven for any inconvenience which might have been caused to those people who had been good enough to make arrangements for his reception at the various centres. Accompanying Mr Savage is the Hon. T. C. Webb. It is stated definitely that there is nothing serious in the Prime Minister’s illness, and that a few days’ rest is all that is necessary.
