BENNET.— On August 16, 1938, at his residence, Portobello, William, beloved husband of Leonora Bennet; aged 68 years.— The Funeral will leave his residence, Portobello, on Thursday, the 18th inst., at 10 a.m. for the Portobello Cemetery.—Hugh Gourley Ltd., funeral directors. CALDER.—On August 17th, 1938, at Dunedin. Mary Agnes, dearly beloved wife of George Calder, 7 Hobson street, St. Clair, and second daughter of Mrs and the late Mr A. Lowrie; aged 28 years.—The Funeral will leave our Ohapel, 78 St. Andrew street, on Thursday, the 18th inst., at 2 p.m.. for the Anderson’s Bay Crematorium—Hope and Kingston, funeral directors. COOPER. —On August 17, 1938, at Maniototo Hospital, Samuel Kenny, beloved son of T. H. and Ada Cooper. KRUSKOPF.—On August 16, 1938, at his residence, 64 Atkinson street, Dunedin South, Jacob Samuel Kruskopf . SHARPE.—On August 16, 1938, at Dunedin, Deane Clifton Sharpe, of Deborah Bay, Port Chalmers; in his seventy-eighth year.—The Funeral will leave his late residence, “Te Whare,” Deborah Bay, To-mor-row (Thursday), August 18, at 2.30 p.m., for the Port Chalmers New Cemetery. No flowers.
