NEW DE LUXE RINK
There will be a special late session this evening at the new De Luxe rink, Filleul street. The programme will include the latest skating numbers in addition to Monte Carlo and Statue Trios for which prizes will be awarded. The rink is open daily for five sessions, commencing at 10.30 a.m., one of the most popular features being the learners’ class, from 5.30 to 6.45 p.m. Private tuition may also bo arranged.
RABBITSKIN SALE EASING ON REDUCED ORDERS The Dunedin Stock Agents and Wool Erokere’ Association reported As foi-* lows:— Competition at yesterday’s sale was not so keen, and values, especially for winter grades, showed an easing. It was noticeable at the beginning of the sale that buyers were working on reduced limits, and United States orders were not so large. The quality of the skins brought forward showed a falling-off, and this, of course, would accentuate, the drop. As compared with late quotations, winter grades declined 6d : to'.lod per lb. Hatters’ generally sold, well, and may be quoted par. The following is the official range of prices:— Small 4d to 6d per lb, runners 13d to 14d, racks 20d to 221 d, summers 14d to 16fd, first early autumns 20d to 26d, first late autumns 36d to 44d, first incomings 48d to 58d, summer broken 13£d to 14d, first winter broken 30Jd to 36d, spring bucks 44d to 45id, spring does 26d to 33Jd, second winter black 18d to 24d, first winter black 42d to 48d, second winter fawns 37Jd to 40d, first winter fawns 62d to 66d, milky I4|d to 20d, first milky 21Jd to 26d, first early winter does 34d to 36d, spotty winter bucks 72d to 77£d, second winter bucks 86id to 96d. first winter bucks lOld to 104 d, prime winter bucks 102 d "to 104 d, spotty winter does 43d to 441 d, second winter does 48d to 54id, first winter does 60d to 65d, prime winter does 60d to 65d, outgoing winter bucks 65d to 66id, outgoing winter does 38id to 50id, horsehair 15d to 24d, first hareskins 43|d to 46Jd, winter weevilly to 20id. ferrets 3d to 3s lid each.
