CONDEMNED BY WAFDISTS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, August 5. : (Received August 6, at 1.5 p.m.) The Cairo correspondent of ‘ The Times 1 says; While Government papers are full of'congratulations to Mahmoud Pasha over the Anglo-Egyptian agreement, the Wafdists denounco the settlement on the ground that the sovereign rights of Egypt have been treacherously sold by Cabinet to hostile national interests.
