PRISONERS SENTENCED
[Feb Dotted PsEss Assocutiox.] WANGANUI. August 2. The following prisoners were sea* fenced by Mr Justice Quilliam* Robert John Bayliss, one year with hard labour for unlawful carnal know* ledge. Henry Brittain, for failing to stop his car after an accident was fined and his license cancelled , for one year. The judge remarked that there was room on the road for hit-and-nm motor* ists.
