OBITUARY
MR M. A. IDWI The death occurred on Sunday after a brief illness of Mr M. A. Idotir a well-known resident of St. Kilda, who for many years was connected with the building trade. Born in Tripoli ih 1883, Mr Idoiir came to Dunedin as a boy. His first employment was afe a traveller, but after some years he entered the building trade, in which fiocontinued until a few years ago, when he acquired the plastering business, owned by Messrs Portnap find NiepL Deceased did a great deal to- afcsist the St. Kilda Life Saving Club in its early days, and he was largely instrumental in having the club’s pavilion built <jn Kettle Park. He was also closely associated with the activities of the St. Kilda Beach Improvement Society, find for his valuable services to that body me was elected a life member. One of liis chief recreations wfis fishing. He is survived by his widow, tnffio sons, and three daughters.
