TO-MORROW'S COMMUNITY SINGING

The weekly sing will-ho held to-mor-row at 12(15 in the Strand Theatre (by courtesy of Fuller-Hay ward). The country members of the Otago Rugby team to play for the Ranfurly Shield will be present. The special item to-

morrow will be Miss Dora Drake singing ‘ Indian Love Call.’ Mr H< P. Desmoulins will be the leader, with Mr Alf. Pettitt at the piano. The programme will be old numbers and th® popular new ones, including ‘ Viene, Vieno.’ Nest week the ladies of th® St. Kilda Bowling Club will be present, and will sing some well-known choruses with words suitable to bowlers. The mayor (A. H. Allen, Esq.); will b® present to-morrow to receive the first £IOO of the season. ■ Proceeds are foi the mayor’s relief of distress fund.
