THIRTEEN INDICTMENTS MURDER CHARGE AGAINST YOUNG WOMAN [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, July 19. . “ Tire quantity of criminal business is rather lighter than has of late been usual/* said Hr Justice Callan in addressing the grand jury at the opening of the criminal sessions of the Supreme Court to-day. He added that there were 13 indictments against 13 persons, including one of murder and two ot negligent driving of a motor car, thereby causing death. The charge of murder was against a young woman who lived at Aratapu, and was based on the disappearance of her illegitimate baby, and the discovery 13 days ater of the decomposed body of the baby in the long grass by the side of the Northern River. It was a pathetic case, but there seemed but one thing the jury could do, and that was to find a true bill.
