The membership figures for the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association for the year ended March 31 last show an increase of 1,639 over those of the previous year, the comparative figures being 30.265 and 28,0*20. Membership of the principal branches of the association was as follows;—Auckland 3,533, Christchurch 3.01.5. Dunedin 2,729. Wellington 2,375, Gisborne 1,218, Invercargill 1,054, South Canterbury 801, G0re.639, Franklyn 605, Palmerston North 506, Wanganui 509.
