THE AUSTRALIAN TOUR BRISBANE, June 20. While training this morning the New Zealand Rugby League player. Gault wrenched his right side. A doctor diagnosed the injury as a torn imusele and Gault was removed to hospital. He had been chosen to play at Toowoomba on Wednesday. It is most unlikely that Tetley, who was injured on Saturday, will play again on the tour. Kay, after a run to-day, felt no soreness, and will probably play at Toowoomba. The team will be Hemi, Midgley, Kay, Chase, Smith, M’Neil, W. Brinible, Grotte, Anderson, Herring. M’Leod, Glynn, Gault, Orman, and M'Neight. (two to be omitted). Questioned concerning the Sydney report that ho had asked for a Sydney referee for the Queensland matches. Mr Redwood (manager) said it was merely an informal suggestion which he had not pressed. He says he has now asked Sydney to defer consideration of his test request until he sees how the Kiwis fare against Queensland next SaturdayAt practice to-day the Kiwis concentrated on scrummaging with the loose head, giving more aid to the hooker.
