RUGBY LEAGUE NEW ZEALAND TEAM'S TOUR SYDNEY, June 21. (Received June 21, at 12.30 p.m.) The General Committee of the New South Wales Rugby League' has decided . that there will not be a test match between Australia and New Zealand on July 2 as requested by the council of the . New Zealand Rugby League. It .was decided that the matches previously arranged for July 2 would stand. These matches are New South Wales v. Queensland at Sydney, and New Zealand v. Newcastle at New castle. The Queensland League had telegraphed that it was not interested in any other fixture for July 2 than the New South Wales v. Queensland match. The committee did not discuss the possibility of a test being played later. A message was read from Mr Carlaw, co-manager of the Kiwis, recommending that the final decision on the question of a test should be deferred until after next Saturday’s match between New Zealand and Queensland.
