TEMPORARY JUDGE
EARLY APPOINTMENT [Pee United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 12. The appointment of a temporary judge to the Supreme Court is expected to be made within a few days as a result of the extension of leave that has been granted to Mr Justice Ostler, whose recovery to, health after his serious illness in December has not been as speedy as was hoped. His absence has been felt on the Supreme Court Bench, as Mr Justice Smith is abroad on a year’s leave and Mr Justice Johnston has been occupied chiefly with Court of Review work.
