Bouterey was charged with counselling or procuring ;Dpuglas -William Dyer and Cyril Wilfred Stanley to swear falsely in divorce proceedings on August 27, 1937, between Bouterey and his wife, Coral Pearl Bouterey, that they had seen Peter Alexander Munro commit adultery with Mrs Bouterey on the launch Phyllis at Napier on May T 5, 22, and 30, 1935. , He had pleaded not guilty.
