A duel to the death was recently fought in Silverapring, Maryland, U.S.A.. and the weapons were—cars. After a fierce quarrel two gangs of young men leapt into two cars and began a butting _ battle. Again and again the cars hit one another with resounding crashes. Then one skidded almost 100 ft, hit a telegraph pole, killing two occupants.
