A long-distance aeroplane, Wings of the Century, commenced an attempt to cover 9,000 miles non-stop in 80 hours in a closed circuit in the Yokohama area, to demonstrate the possibility of a round-the-world flight in three hops. FORCED DOWN. TOKIO,-May 10. (Received May 11, at 10 a.m.) The aeroplane Wings of the Century, after completing 1,250 miles, made a forced landing undamaged at Kisarezu.
