PURGE IN AUSTRIA MARRIAGES WITH ARYANS FORBIDDEN Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 7. The Jewish leaders in Austria have been notified. 'that there must be 100,000 Jews fewer in Vienna by 1942. The Vienna correspondent of the ‘Daily Telegraph’ says that a decree forbids marriages between Jews and ■ Aryans. ■ Other decrees order the dismissal of Jews employed in the, sale and distribution of newspapers and other printed matter and ban Jews from public baths in Vienna. Jewish owners of week-end houses and various spas are required to sell them immediately. Dr Stefan von Muller, editor-in-chief of the ‘ Neue Freie Presse,’ committed suicide. SUPREME COURT JUDGES DISMISSED ' VIENNA. May 7. In reply to Nazi protests at the retention in the Administration of former ' opponents, Herr’ Buerckel promised satisfaction • within six months. Nine Supreme Court judges have been dismissed on the grounds of unsuitability for Nazi "ideals. •
