CAPPING PARADE.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —On behalf of the Capping Committee of the Otago University Students’ Association I should like to reply to the suggestion made by “ Ino ” in Saturday evening’s paper regarding the route of the capping procession. The procession will take the same course as last year, and will proceed right along Princes street to the Grand Theatre, where it will turn down into Crawford street. On reaching Lower High street the parade will disband, the inaugural speeches being delivered from the balcony of the Criterion Hotel. . “ Ino ” is evidently under a slight misapprehension, for the procession has not returned along Princes street for several years. —I am, etc., H. E. Moller, Capping Controller, May 9.
