SUPPLIES FOR BRITAIN ORDERS PLACED IN CANADA. (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY. May 7. Speaking at a Primrose League demonstration. the Minister for Co-or-dination of Defence (Sir Thomas Inskip) announced that the British Government had placed orders for Bren machine guns in Canada This has been done to assist economical production of Bren guns for the Canadian Government and at the same time to provide duplicate sources of production for the British Government.
