, RELIEF EFFORTS OF R.S.A. “ We again wish to express our grateful thanks to the ladies of Roxburgh and Miller’s Flat for their generous donation of 396 101 b tins of jam, also to our Kaitangata sub-branch, who did not forget those who are sick, and they again Generously forwarded to us one 10-ton truck of coal. Many friends have in various donations, and to all tve express our grateful thanks. “ The Christmas parcels were again distributed, the Otago Patriotic Society agreeing to find the necessary finance. Each married man received a grocery order for 30s and a meat order for 7s 6d, and the single man a grocery order for 15s. . _ ■ “The afforestation scheme at Rox. burgh is well established, and, although the'trees suffered a setback as a result of frosts and drought, the Roxburgh Committee, under the very able guidance of Dr J.
