PROVISION FOR THE FUTURE NEW MANAGEMENT PLANS Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, March 20. Mr T. J. White, chief executive of the Hearst organisation, announced that Mr W» U. Hearst had named Mr Clarence J. Shearn, a New York attorney, to become voting trustee of Hearst’s stock in American Newspapers Inc., and the creation of an executive committee to assume the business management and policy of the Hearst enterprises. Mr Hearst will continue to be as active as ever in editorial matters and advice on general policy. This stop is interpreted generally as virtual retirement by Mr Hearst, who is 75., While he is in splendid health and vigour, he is conscious of the uncertainties of life and desires to provide perpetuation of his publishing enterprises.
