The early’ portion of theif trip in the South Island was also covered by car, but yesterday morning they. eriteted the aeroplane at Waiho and commenced the trip to Dunedin via Mount Cook, Milford, and the Lakes district, arriving here early in the afternoon. ■, When seen by a reporter, both Mrs Van Sinderen and' Mr M'Cutcheon Tver© enthusiastic about the wonderful scenery they had viewed, and their one regret was that two, and a-halt hours’ flying did not permit of their inspecting all the districts they would have liked to, see.
