HAS TRANSFERRED TO DUNEDIN Mr “ Denny ” Dorman, one of the keenest officials associated with track and field athletics in Southland, has taken up residence in Selwyn College, Dunedin, and his departure from Invercargill will be a severe blow to amateur sport in the south. One of the early members of the St. Paul’s Harrier and Amateur Athletic Club, “ Denny ” was also one of those responsible for the formation of the Southland Amateur Athletic Association, which is a body representing all the clubs in the south and functions practically as a sub-centre of the Otago Centre. He has acted as hon. secretary of the association, and more than most has done a lot to keep the flag of amateur athletics flying in Southland. He should be an acquisition to the executive side of athletics in Otago,
