MILK SUPPLY.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I read with interest the letter by “ E. Frances” on the milk supply. It is very encouraging to note that there are a few people taking a live interest in affairs which concern them. I agree, why. should we sit down while a few dictate what shall be done? The Otago Milk Producers’ Association is concerned only for itself. As long as its members are. relieved of their burden
and get their own way, it matters not about the consumer, whether ho is taxed, pays high prices, or gets good milk. This should be a concern of the people, an exercising of the will of the people; and if sufficient will interest themselves in this vital question, it can be done. The citizens do not take their orders from the Otago Milk Producers’ Association. We can make our voice as powerful.—l am, etc., E. Brocks. March 1. *
