THE MYSTERY
There is a story that, while travelling on the Paris Metro, a woman found a neatly-tied parcel from which came a grinding noise. Fearing it might be a bomb, she got out at the next station and presented it to the stationmaster, and from a respectful distance the whole _ staff watched with bated breath while he opened the infernal machine. Inside was a live hedgehog.
