The first grade matches commenced last Saturday will be continued. At Garisßrook the match Carisbrook B is in an interesting position, the B’s having scored 111, while the A’s have made 155 for sis wickets. At University Oval in the match between Old Boys and University, the latter 'has scored 140, while Old Boys have six wickets down for 143. Against Grange Albion, after a bad start, scored 182 runs, while Grange has lost four wickets for 119. The match between Dunedin and Kaikorai at Tonga Park appears to bo in a good position for the former, who have sejored 291. and Kaikorai will require to show its best batting form to reach this total..
