EDUCATIONAL. KING EDWARD TECHNICAL COLLEGE EVENING CLASSES. EVENING CLASSES REOPEN on MONDAY, 28th February, at 7 p.m. Tuition is given in the following courses; — ART ENGINEERING BUILDING PUBLIC EXAMINATIONS CABINETMAKING PLUMBING COMMERCE TYPOGRAPHY HOME CRAFTS WOOLCLASSING Enrolments for any of the above classes will be received at the College Office from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, February 23, 24, and 25. Room in the classes cannot be guaranteed to those who do not enrol early. No student will be admitted to any class until enrolment is completed at the College Office; in the case of paying students this includes payment of the first term’s fees. NEW CLASSES. New Evening Classes are offered in Physical Culture (Boys Tuesdays, Girls Wednesdays), and in French, German, Science for beginners. CLASSES IN ART. Certain Morning and Afternoon Classes in Arts and Crafts (including Needlework, Dressmaking, and Cookery) are open to adults and senior students only. EXEMPTION FROM CLASS FEES. Young persons wishing to attend a course in Evening Classes and finding themselves, by reason of home circumstances or irregularity in their own employment, unable to pay full fees, should see the Principal without delay. CLASSES IN ALL FACULTIES WILL COMMENCE ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28. A General Inaugural Meeting will be held in the Allen Hall at 10 a.m. on that day. The Inaugural Address will be delivered by Professor B. J. Marples, Professor of Zoology. _ , All students must register at the Registrar’s Office within the first week of the term.
