Cecil Prime (employers’ representative) ,■; and Mr A. L. Monteith (workers’- | representative) to-day made fixtures for 21 workers’ compensation cases and ■ 14 Dominion industrial disputes, which! j will occupy its attention until the end-, of March. His Honour said the second 1 Court of Arbitration was expected in Wellington about the nfiddle of March,;' and fixtures for the remaining business would be made about that time. : The court intimated to-day that s' settlement, having 'been reached,, • awards would be made in the cases of the Wellington ships’- carpenters* the Wellington men’s and women’s hairdressers, the "Wellington concrete and pipe and pumice workers, and the Wellington, Taranaki, and Marl* borough brewerv workers’ awards. The list of dominion disputes for, which fixtures have been inad© is as follows:
March 9.—Painters and decorators i paint and varnish workers. March 21. .Upholsterers, followed by bricklayers. . ; March 22.—Woollen mills, three days. March 25.—Chemists.
March 28.—Printing trades.March 29.—Gasworks, three days.April s.—Passenger transport, two days,
