February 23, at 1.35 p.m.) The Advisory Cricket Committee has decided to recommend to the Marylebone Club that an eight-ball over be tried in first class matches in 1939. Also, in connection with the commission’s report of December 6, it is recommended that there be no reduction in the number of first class counties. It is recommended that the counties ensure that pitches are not over-pre-pared. ■
