BIG SPOT DISINTEGRATING [Per United Press Association ] WELLINGTON, February 14. Astronomers who have been studying solar activity report'that the big spot which reappeared last week shows signs of disintegration. There are now visible 107 spots, of which 34 are in five groups, which have just appeared on the eastern edge of the sun. These groups are in a zone which has been very active.for the past year, and which was responsible lor the tremendous magnetic storms last April.
