RETURN FROM AUSTRALIAN TOUR [Pbb United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 11. . The New Zealand women’s cricket team arrived back from Sydney by the Wanganella to-day. The captain (Miss Pickering) said' that the tour had been satisfactory, the standards of play in. New Zealand and the Commonwealth being similar. The Australian batting was disappointing, but their slow break bowling puzzled the New Zealand girls. She considered the New. Zealand girls should try this type of howling, as it had proved particularly effective against them. The New Zealand team’s greatest strength had been in the field.
