LOAN PROPOSALS APPROVED [Per United Press Association.] TIMARU, February 1' Three loan proposals totalling £326,300 were submitted to the ratepayers of the Timaru borough and Timaru harbour district to-day, and all three were carried by big majorities. The borough water improvement loan of £72;300 was carried by a majority of 1,728, the borough kerbing and channelling loan of £12,000 by a majority of 1,322, and the Harbour Board improvement loan of £242,000 was carried by a majority of 2,030.
