THREE MONTHS' HARD LABOUR ANOTHER SENTENCE PENDING [Per United Peess Association.] WELLINGTON, February 9. Charges of breaking and entering by night on December '26 the dwelling house of Miss D. Boyce and committing theft therein, and of assaulting Wallace Craig on January 28, were heard by Mr W. F. Stilwell, S.M., against Charles Gordon Holland. He pleaded guilty to both charges, and on the burglary charge was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. On the assault charge he was given three months’ hard labour. The charge arose from his pursuit and capture by Craig when seen at the same window as he used in the burglary the month before.
