DR NIEMOLLER’S TRIAL

The Berlin correspondent of ‘ The Times ’ says that, despite warnings from the president of the court, Dr Nicmoller deprived his counsel of the right to defend him because they refused his demand that they insist on the readmission of the Press and the public. DEFENDING COUNSEL APPOINTED BERLIN, February 9. (Received February 10, at 11.30 a.m.) 'The. court appointed an official not named to defend Dr Niemoller. The hearing has been adjourned temporarily to allow counsel to make himself familiar with the history of the case.
