STRIKE SETTLED
THE DORMAN LONG DISPUTE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, February 2. (Received February 3, at 1.15 p.m.) The Dorman Long strike, which extended to 1,700 steel workers, has been settled. [A previous message stated: Four hundred employees in the Sightseers’ melting shop at Dorman Longs, Middlesbrough, struck after midnight over, the union membership of two employees. It is possible that 5,000 may be affected in later shifts. The, works were proceeding at full pressure with a month’s Government orders and foreign contracts.]
